The research gauged the opinions among Canadians on their preferred approach for the government to fund the NATO defense spending target and views on additional deficit spending for fostering economic growth.

Nanos conducted an RDD dual frame (land- and cell-lines) hybrid telephone and online random survey of 1,028 Canadians, 18 years of age or older, between August 30th and September 3rd, 2025 as part of an omnibus survey. The margin of error for this survey is ±3.1 percentage points, 19 times out of 20.
