Consumer confidence in Canada continues to flatline in neutral.  Of note, the percentage of Canadians who believe the economy will get stronger in the next six months has hit a 10 week low.

Nanos conducted an RDD dual frame (land- and cell-lines) telephone random survey of 1,055 respondents in Canada. This report is based on the four waves of tracking ending January 30th, 2026. The margin of error for a random survey of 1,055 Canadians is ±3.0 percentage points, 19 times out of 20. The research was commissioned by the Bloomberg and was conducted by Nanos Research.
