Residents of both the City of Guelph and Centre Wellington/Guelph-Eramosa gave the top rating to their community as a place to raise a family (Guelph: mean of 7.6 out of 10; Wellington/Eramosa: mean of 8.2 out of 10), and high marks for overall quality of life and a safe place to live. Both regions receive lower grades on being a place to take public transit, with a very poor grade in Wellington/Eramosa, (Guelph: mean of 5.6; Wellington/Eramosa: mean of 2.2) and as a place where one can afford to buy a home (Guelph: mean of 3.6; Wellington/Eramosa: mean of 3.7).

Nanos conducted an RDD dual frame (land- and cell-lines) random telephone survey of 717 residents of City of Guelph, Centre Wellington and Guelph-Eramosa, 18 years of age or older, between April 16th to 25th, 2024. The margin of error for a random survey of 717 Canadians is ±3.7 percentage points, 19 times out of 20.
