Over two in five union members are considering or somewhat considering leaving their current position in the next year (OCHU/CUPE/Nanos)

The research gauged the opinions of members of the Canadian Union of Public Employees (CUPE) and the Ontario Council of Hospital Unions (OCHU) on current satisfaction at their jobs, current welfare in relation to their position, and their level of confidence in improvements to working conditions in the coming year.

Nanos conducted telephone survey of 775 CUPE and OCHU members, between October 16th to 19th, 2023 from a list provided by CUPE and OCHU.

The research was commissioned by CUPE and OCHU and was conducted by Nanos Research.
