Since January 2024, Canadian consumer confidence has consistently tracked in positive territory but just marginally above a score of 50 points on the 100 point diffusion scale that makes up the Bloomberg Nanos Canadian Confidence Index.

Nanos conducted an RDD dual frame (land- and cell-lines) telephone random survey of 1,117 respondents in Canada. This report is based on the four waves of tracking ending June 28th, 2024. The margin of error for a random survey of 1,117 Canadians is ±2.9 percentage points, 19 times out of 20. The research was commissioned by the Bloomberg and was conducted by Nanos Research.
