Canadian consumer confidence remains in marginally positive territory with a score above 50 on the 100-point diffusion index. Residents in Quebec and BC have higher level of consumer confidence than people in other parts of Canada.

Nanos conducted an RDD dual frame (land- and cell-lines) telephone random survey of 1,105 respondents in Canada. This report is based on the four waves of tracking ending July 14, 2023. The margin of error for a random survey of 1,105 Canadians is ±3.0 percentage points, 19 times out of 20. The research was commissioned by the Bloomberg and was conducted by Nanos Research.
