After registering negative sentiment for most of the past four months, the incremental trend in the Bloomberg Nanos Canadian Confidence Index continues to move towards a neutral position with a score of 48.83 on the 100 point diffusion scale where 50 is net neutral consumer sentiment.

Nanos conducted an RDD dual frame (land- and cell-lines) telephone random survey of 1,115 respondents in Canada. This report is based on the four waves of tracking ending April 7, 2023. The margin of error for a random survey of 1,115 Canadians is ±2.9 percentage points, 19 times out of 20. The research was commissioned by the Bloomberg and was conducted by Nanos Research.
