Canadians are two times more likely to think illegal immigrants crossing into the US from Canada is a major problem rather than not a problem (CTV/Nanos)

The objective of the research was to gauge the views of Canadians on the impact of illegal immigrants crossing the border from Canada into the United-States.

Nanos conducted an RDD dual frame (land- and cell-lines) hybrid telephone and online random survey of 1084 Canadians, 18 years of age or older, between November 30th to December 4th , 2024 as part of an omnibus survey.

The margin of error for this survey is ±3.0 percentage points, 19 times out of 20.

The research was commissioned by CTV News and was conducted by Nanos Research.
