Canadian consumer confidence continues to hover in neutral territory with a score near 50 points on the 100-point diffusion index.  Atlantic Canada and Quebec have marginally positive sentiment while the rest of the country has marginally negative consumer confidence.

Nanos conducted an RDD dual frame (land- and cell-lines) telephone random survey of 1,087 respondents in Canada. This report is based on the four waves of tracking ending December 1st, 2023. The margin of error for a random survey of 1,087 Canadians is ±3.0 percentage points, 19 times out of 20. The research was commissioned by the Bloomberg and was conducted by Nanos Research.
