Consumer confidence continues to track in net negative territory with a score less than 50 on the 100 point scale that makes sure the Bloomberg Nanos Canadian Confidence Index. BNCC Index scores are lower among individuals under 30 compared to all other age cohorts.

Nanos conducted an RDD dual frame (land- and cell-lines) telephone random survey of 1,136 respondents in Canada. This report is based on the four waves of tracking ending February 17, 2023. The margin of error for a random survey of 1,136 Canadians is ±2.9 percentage points, 19 times out of 20. The research was commissioned by the Bloomberg and was conducted by Nanos Research.
