The research gauged the opinions among residents of Windsor-Essex on quality of life, local services, housing affordability, economic concerns, trade and tariffs, municipal priorities, infrastructure projects, public safety, and voting intentions ahead of the 2026 municipal and provincial elections. It also examines attitudes toward community growth, downtown revitalization, healthcare access, employment opportunities, and housing development policies.

Nanos conducted an RDD dual frame (land- and cell-lines) hybrid telephone and online random survey of 724 residents of Windsor-Essex, 18 years of age or older, between May 20th and June 2nd, 2026.

A margin of error cannot be calculated on a non-probability sample. For comparison purposes, a probability sample of 724 respondents would be accurate ±3.7 percentage points, 19 times out of 20.

The statistical tabulations including the unweighted and weighted number of interviews can be accessed here. Tables within the report that have significant differences are highlighted in yellow.
