Canada’s economic mood remains finely balanced. The Bloomberg Nanos Canadian Confidence Index stands at 51.22, little changed from 50.88 four weeks ago. Household sentiment remains the stronger component, with the Pocketbook Index at 54.34. Expectations are more subdued at 48.09, suggesting Canadians remain cautious about the economic and housing outlook. Confidence has improved from spring lows, but a decisive turn towards optimism remains elusive.
