Consumer confidence in Canada continues to show negative pressure. Of note, views are more pessimistic compared to four weeks ago on three of four indicators including the value of real estate, personal finances and the future strength of the economy.

Nanos conducted an RDD dual frame (land- and cell-lines) telephone random survey of 1,104 respondents in Canada. This report is based on the four waves of tracking ending November 3rd, 2023. The margin of error for a random survey of 1,104 Canadians is ±3.0 percentage points, 19 times out of 20. The research was commissioned by the Bloomberg and was conducted by Nanos Research.
