Most Canadians want the Government of Canada to make public the evidence used to accuse India of being behind the killing of Hardeep Singh Nijjar (Globe and Mail/Nanos)

Seven in 10 Canadians agree or somewhat agree that the Government of Canada should make public the evidence that Prime Minister Justin Trudeau relied upon September 18 when he accused India of being behind the killing of Hardeep Singh Nijjar.

Nanos conducted an RDD dual frame (land-and cell-lines) hybrid telephone and online random survey of 1071 Canadians, 18 years of age or older, between October 29th to 31st, 2023 as part of an omnibus survey. The margin of error for this survey is ±3.0 percentage points, 19 times out of 20.

The research was commissioned by the Globe and Mail and was conducted by Nanos Research.
