After a series of gains in consumer confidence in February, March is seeing a softening of consumer confidence in Canada as the Bloomberg-Nanos Index is returning to a trajectory towards neutral.

Nanos conducted an RDD dual frame (land- and cell-lines) telephone random survey of 1,015 respondents in Canada. This report is based on the four waves of tracking ending March 13th, 2026. The margin of error for a random survey of 1,015 Canadians is ±3.1 percentage points, 19 times out of 20. The research was commissioned by the Bloomberg and was conducted by Nanos Research.
