Canadian consumer confidence eased in early September, with the Bloomberg Nanos Canadian Confidence Index lowering to 50.38 from 53.38 four weeks earlier. The decline was driven by softer expectations for the economy and real estate, while views on personal finances and job security remained comparatively stable.
