Canadians are divided on whether Canada is prepared for another protest like the Freedom Convoy Truckers protest, with one in two that say Canada is prepared or somewhat prepared, and just under one in two who say the opposite. Canadians are split on their confidence in the ability of the police in Canada to handle another protest like the Freedom Convoy truckers protest, with about one in four each saying they have less or more confidence.
Nanos conducted an RDD dual frame (land- and cell-lines) hybrid telephone and online random survey of 1025 Canadians, 18 years of age or older, between November 27th and 29th, 2022 as part of an omnibus survey. This study was commissioned by CTV News and the research was conducted by Nanos Research.
