The Parti Québécois have a marginal lead in the Québec election race while CAQ and Liberals remain in close second The Parti Québécois (PQ) currently leads on ballot support at 27.9%, followed closely by the Québec Liberal Party (QLP) at 23.7% and the Coalition Avenir Québec (CAQ) at 21.6%.

Preferred Premier is a dead heat between Christine Fréchette and Paul St-Pierre Plamondon – Christine Fréchette (26.7%) and Paul St-Pierre Plamondon (25.4%) are statistically tied as the preferred Premier for Québec.

Fréchette holds clear advantage on managing Trump threats and protecting Québec’s economic interests – Christine Fréchette leads in terms of who Quebecers trust most to face threats from Donald Trump (30.3%, compared to 17.8% for Paul St-Pierre Plamondon) and protecting Québec’s financial interests during the trade war with the United States (31.9%, compared to 19.1% for Paul St-Pierre Plamondon).  Best leader to improve the finances of Quebecers is a horse race.

Noovo/Crave/Nanos conducted a RDD dual frame (cell- and land-lines) hybrid random telephone and online bilingual survey of 537 Quebecers aged 18 years and over, from September 12th to 14th, 2026. Respondents were all randomly recruited through a dual-frame (cell- and land-line) RDD sample using live agents. One half of the sample was administered the questionnaire by telephone, and one half was administered online through the Nanos Insights Lab Probability Panel. The random sample was weighted by region, age and gender according to the latest Canadian census data.

A random survey of 537 Quebecers is accurate ±4.3 percentage points, plus or minus, 19 times out of 20.
