The research gauged the opinions among residents of British Columbia on topics such as making healthcare better, who they prefer to receive care from, whether they have a regular family physician and their confidence on getting an appointment within a reasonable amount of time.
Nanos conducted an online non-probability representative survey of 1,004 British Columbians, 18 years of age or older, from April 16 to April 22, 2026. The results were statistically checked and weighted by age and gender using the latest Census information and the sample is geographically stratified to be representative of British Columbia.
A margin of error cannot be calculated on a non-probability sample. For comparison purposes, a probability sample of 1,004 respondents would have a margin of error of ±3.1 percentage points, 19 times out of 20.
The research was commissioned by BC College of Family Physicians and was conducted by Nanos Research.
