In the most recent wave of Bloomberg Nanos confidence tracking, which Nanos has been monitoring since 2008, only 10 percent of Canadians report their finances are better compared to a year ago – the lowest reported score on record.

Nanos conducted an RDD dual frame (land- and cell-lines) telephone random survey of 1,082 respondents in Canada. This report is based on the four waves of tracking ending May 3rd, 2024. The margin of error for a random survey of 1,082 Canadians is ±3.0 percentage points, 19 times out of 20. The research was commissioned by the Bloomberg and was conducted by Nanos Research.
