A strong majority of Canadians say it is important that telecommunications services remain operational without disruptions (95%). In the past year, more than one in three Canadians report having experienced disruptions in service (39%) due to severe weather or natural disasters.
Nanos conducted an online representative non-probability panel survey of 1,003 Canadians, 18 years of age or older, between March 22nd to 26th, 2024.
The research was commissioned by the Canadian Telecommunications Association and was conducted by Nanos Research.
