Consumer confidence neutral (Bloomberg/Nanos)

After a five month cycle of positive consumer confidence ratings, currently the Bloomberg Nanos Canadian Confidence Index registers sentiment in neutral with a score at the 50 point mark in the 100 point diffusion index.

Nanos conducted an RDD dual frame (land- and cell-lines) telephone random survey of 1,106 respondents in Canada. This report is based on the four waves of tracking ending September 29, 2023. The margin of error for a random survey of 1,127 Canadians is ±2.9 percentage points, 19 times out of 20. The research was commissioned by the Bloomberg and was conducted by Nanos Research.
