Confidence remains at high not seen since June 2022 (Bloomberg/Nanos)

Consumer confidence remains in neutral on the 100 point diffusion scale for the index. Of note, the current level registers at the highest level seen since June 2022. All regions currently have confidence levels above the 12 month average.

Nanos conducted an RDD dual frame (land- and cell-lines) telephone random survey of 1,154 respondents in Canada. This report is based on the four waves of tracking ending April 21, 2023. The margin of error for a random survey of 1,154 Canadians is ±2.9 percentage points, 19 times out of 20. The research was commissioned by the Bloomberg and was conducted by Nanos Research.
